These are Terms and Conditions that rule Immediate Rent Points Program

Immediate Rent Points Program Terms and Conditions


If you create an account on Immediate Rent website AND rent a property or make a purchase using Immediate Rent classified section OR post your ad or property listing, you are awarded 100 Immediate Rent Points (“Points”). You can also accumulate more Points buying services and products from our Partners (see details below).

You also acknowledge that if you create an account on Immediate Rent website this means that you have received, reviewed and agree to these Immediate Rent Points Program Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).

 

You can make use of your Points in the following ways (each Point being redeemed as an equivalent of 1 CAD):

  1. You can pay with your Points for any Immediate Rent services in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

Example 1.1 – You have ordered a service from Immediate Rent that costs 50 CAD. You have 100 Points on your Balance. 50 Points from your Balance are redeemed as 50 CAD towards payment to Immediate Rent. Thus, you do not pay for this service in cash and you still have 50 Points left on your Balance after this transaction.

Example 1.2 – You have ordered a service from Immediate Rent that costs 150 CAD. You have 100 Points on your Balance. Your 100 Points are redeemed as 100 CAD towards payment to Immediate Rent. You finally have to pay 50 CAD for this service (the other 100 CAD being covered with your 100 Points). Your Balance after this transaction will be 0 CAD.

  1. You can also get a cashback and/or new Points from purchases of services or products from our Partners within the limits our Partner set up for this Partner Cashback program (“Cashback Limit”). It is your responsibility to let us and our Partner know that you have bought our Partner’s product or service according to this Program. To see the complete list of our Partners and their conditions, please go to our Partner's Services page and make a search for your city to see the Partners’ Services available in your area.

The amount of your Points that can be redeemed as a cashback for Partner’s products or services you paid for is the lesser of your Points Balance or Cashback Limit or the Payment Amount. If the Partner Cashback Limit is greater than your Points Balance, the difference will be added to your Balance as new Points (i.e. to calculate the amount of new awarded Points the Point Balance before the transaction should be deducted from the Cashback Limit).

The amount of Points redeemed or the cashback cannot at any time exceed the amount of your Payment (Purchase).

Example 2.1 - The Partner Cashback Limit is 200 CAD and you have 100 Points on your Balance. In this case 100 Points from your Balance are redeemed as 100 CAD cashback after you have paid for the product/service. The difference between the Cashback Limit and your Balance before the transaction (200 CAD – 100 Points = 100 Points) is added to your Balance as new 100 Points.

Example 2.2 - The Partner Cashback Limit is 200 CAD and you have 300 Points on your Balance. In this case 200 Points from your Balance are redeemed as 200 CAD cashback after you have paid for the product/service. Your Point Balance before the transaction exceeds the Cashback Limit (300 Points - 200 CAD = 100 Points), so no new Points are earned. Thus, you receive 200 CAD as cashback and you still have 100 Points remaining after this purchase/payment.

Example 2.3 - The Partner Cashback Limit is 200 CAD and you have 0 Points on your Balance. In this case you do not receive any cashback, but after you have paid for the product/service you earned 200 new Points, which you can apply towards your next purchases.


Points do not constitute your property for any purpose and under no conditions they can be cashed, claimed as cash, transferred to your banking account or deposit or brokers, or redeemed in any other way other than specified in these Terms and Conditions.

The Points are not transferable. Under no circumstances the Points of several users and customers or from several accounts can be combined to be applied towards any payment(s) or any transaction(s).

Your Balance will be (re)calculated after every transaction with Immediate Rent or Immediate Rent Partner.

If you find any errors or omissions in your Balance or have any objections to your Balance, you must notify us in a timely manner using our Customer Support Form.

If you do not notify us as required, we are entitled at every moment to treat your Balance as correct and you agree in such event to release us from all claims by you with respect to that. We reserve the right to make adjustments to and correct errors on your Balance at any time without prior notice in the event that Points have been erroneously earned or credited.


General Conditions:

We reserve the right to change any of the rules, regulations, terms, conditions, qualification criteria and these Terms and Conditions, in whole or in part, from time to time, with or without notice, including, but not limited to, the amount of Points earned, any formula they are calculated by and methods, proportions and formula specifying how these Points can be applied as well as the scope of services or products that can be paid therewith.

If your account with Immediate Rent is closed for whatever reason (see Termination Close of Immediate Rent Terms of Use) your participation in this Program is terminated immediately, any earned Points are canceled automatically without prior notice and may not be subsequently used.

We may, with or without notice, suspend or terminate your participation in this Program and cancel any accumulated Points (without compensation to you) in the event of: (1) fraud or abuse by you relating to the Program, including usage of any system, bot, malware or other device or artifice to earn the Points; (2) failure by you to follow these Terms and Conditions.

Immediate Rent is not liable for any losses, damages, illnesses, injuries, accidents, delays or other issues resulting directly or indirectly from your purchase and use of Immediate Rent Partners’ products and services. We are not responsible for the actions or information of third parties, and you release us from any claims and damages, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with any claim you have against any such third parties.

We may communicate with you electronically and any agreement we make with you in such manner will be considered to be “in writing”, signed and delivered for all purposes.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws in force in the Province of Alberta, Canada and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Province of Alberta.
